Birthday + 1

I hope this finds everyone doing well. Josh is doing just fine. I got a call yesterday and another today. I'd love to tell you how things are and what he's up to, but I have no idea. He can't even tell me about the weather!!

In other news, I had my Dear-me-I'm-really-close-to-being-30 Birthday yesterday. Yup, the big 26. Time goes fast. Yesterday it was bewildering how fast things have come and gone. I could get reflective but I won't.

Instead I'll tell you what I learned.

On your Birthday you can get:
  • 1 FREE 2-topping personal pizza at the pizzaria (best on earth)
  • 1 FREE movie rental (old or new release, bonus!),
  • 1 FREE cookie at he bakery (I passed on this my hips said no)
  • 1 FREE carwash (It was raining so I passed on this opportunity)
  • And lastly 1 FREE home-cooked dinner with your family. Which includes your beverage, dessert, singing, and leftovers.
<> So, while my husband didn't know it was my Birthday, the local businesses did!

And thanks to all those who sent a card. It was greatly appreciated.

I'm such a tool. Remember this conversation we had about your birthday coming up? Ugh! Happy Birthday! Sorry I forgot the card... I'll bake you a cake, or no bakes, or whatever you'd like.

Dana, last week I thought "Dana's b-day is the 17th, I need to mail out a card." Hmmm, I'm not on top of things. Happy Birthday! I'm with you on the horribleness that is 26 being so close to 30. I just don't let it sink in and live in denial. It's a little easier that way:)

Sorry I missed it. My bad. I will catch you next year for sure. Enjoy your twenties while you have them. Still, even thirty is not as bad as it seems. Surprisingly, not much changes.
