The water jump was a lot of fun. Most jumps are a lot more stressfull and the landing much rougher. This time my mom was waiting for me to float down to the water and come in on a boat. She really enjoyed the jump and I really enjoyed seeing her this past weekend.

This weekend my mom and I went up to Mt. Ranier National Park. We stayed at a really nice ski lodge and went into the park during the day. The only downside to the weekend was that it was cloudy so Mt. Ranier wasn't really in sight this weekend making sight seeing of the Mt. a little difficult.

The ski lodge boasts of 2300 acres of groomed downhill trails and 3100 feet of vertical. I can't wait to go back once they have some snow to tear up the slopes. I haven't been skiing in a long time and it will be a good time. I just have to talk the wife into going with me! They had some good rates for rooms and lift tickets and I just found out you can get discounted tickets through the post.
